Saturday, August 2, 2025
7pm - 8:30pm
About: Join Blythe Books for an evening of crafting fun as we offer a beginner needlefelt class taught by Rachel Krenek. This class will focus on learning the basics of needle felting with a take-home ornament as the project you will be tackling together.
While this is a beginner class on the art of needle felting, anyone with advanced skill level is welcome to join in on the fun too.
This class is appropriate for anyone ages 12+.
Cost: $48 (includes all supplies* and instructor’s time)
*It is advised you bring your own cookie cutter to the class to use as an outline for your design, but extra cookie cutters will be available in case you forget.
About Rachel: Dr. Rachel Krenek was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, where she still resides with her husband, cat, and porch goose, Gertrude Penelope Goose. She began her crocheting journey almost 5 years ago when she inherited her husband's grandmother's art supplies. Her favorite thing to make are dresses for her porch goose. When Rachel isn’t creating handmade outfits for her goose, she can be found playing board games, reading romance books, baking cookies, and running half marathons.
Refund Policy: All sales are final for our classes. As the instructor purchases supplies for your seat once you confirm your attendance, we are unable to refund any attendees who find they can no longer attend the event. You are free to transfer/sell your ticket to another interested guest.
Store Credit Policy: Any store credit you may have at Blythe Books cannot be used to purchase a seat for this class. The majority of the ticket cost goes directly to the artist/instructor/vendor hosting this event. Please stop by and use your credit on any other items found in our store.
