Beginner's Watercolor Class with Elisabeth Ridenour

Join local artist Elisabeth Ridenour for an immersive Introduction to Realistic Watercolor Painting workshop.

In this two-session workshop, you’ll learn the foundational techniques to start your watercolor journey with confidence. You’ll also receive a PDF guide with everything we’ll cover in class, including additional sketches and reference photos, so you can continue practicing at home. Additionally, you can reach out to Elisabeth after the workshop if you have any questions as you practice your new skills. 

SESSION 1 - November 2nd | 4:30 to 6:30

Learn the foundation:

  • -Characteristics of watercolors

  • Materials

  • Four-consistencies technique to control watercolor paints

  • Wet-on-dry

  • Wet-on-wet

  • Layering

SESSION 2 - November 9th | 4:30 to 6:30

We’ll bring it all together in a step-by-step project that applies the techniques from Session 1, giving you a finished piece to take home.

Cost: $62 for the 2-session workshop. All materials are included, including a drawing of the final project so that you can focus on painting. 

Refund Policy: All class sales are final. As we use your seat reservation to pay the instructor and buy supplies needed for the class, we are unable to refund your money should you no longer be able to attend. You are welcome to transfer and/or sell your ticket to someone else who is able to attend.
