Blythe Books is happy to welcome back local author Carrie DiRisio to the store for our quarterly Writer’s Workshop. This workshop is geared to help aspiring writers to get the most out of their stories and ideas for a great novel.
Each meet-up we tackle a different writing theme to help develop your story more. October’s theme is: Building Strong Scenes.
Writer’s are encouraged (but not required) to bring a scene with them that can easily be summarized in a 30 second pitch that they feel could be strengthened. Also bring along any questions or concerns you’d like to talk about. As time allows in the class, they can be discussed.
This class is intended for anyone ages 16+. No previous writing experience is necessary.
We ask that you RSVP to this event so we can properly prepare for each participant.
