Beginner Oil Painting Class with Allison Day: Fried Egg Workshop

Event Description: Ever want to learn the ins and outs of oil painting? Join Blythe Books as we welcome Allison Day from Cedar Lane Art Company to Blythe Books to teach a beginner’s oil painting class.
Students will learn each step of the oil painting process in a small group instruction setting, with Allison demonstrating and assisting in every part of the painting. Student can expect to take home a completed work of a fried egg at the conclusion of the class.
This class is intended for ages 18+
Cost: $48 - this pays for all supplies* and instructor time.
*This event is a BYO Frame event. Please bring your own 4×6” frame to class without the glass (oil paintings cannot go behind glass).
About Allison: Allison is a life-long Pennsylvania native who got her creative start at a young age designing artwork from everyday household items. She now owns Cedar Lane Art Company, allowing her to make and sell her art to the public while also providing instructional classes to others who are interested in learning.
Refund Policy: All sales are final. As each instructor purchases supplies for your spot, we are unable to refund the cost of your ticket if you are unable to attend. You are free to transfer or sell your ticket(s) to someone else.
Store Credit Policy: Any store credit you may have at Blythe Books cannot be used to purchase a seat for this class. The majority of the ticket cost goes directly to the artist/instructor/vendor hosting this event. Please stop by and use your credit on any other items found in our store.
